Overview: DEC International, one of the leading construction, real estate and business data specialists in the southeast, was launching an online resource to help contractors and builders find quality leads to private sector projects.
Objective: Create a consumer friendly brand identity that can be leveraged across multiple mediums with a strong emphasis on the web.
Brand Design: By reviewing the competitive market as well as understanding the targeted audiences our design strategy was clear - create an identity that reflects approachable and friendly as well as quality and knowledgeable. This led us to developing a logo and set of graphic icons that play off construction as well as planning (sticky notes, file folders, etc) giving the identity personality and dimension. We then crafted a brand tone that translated into a action oriented tagline and messaging platform. The communications and website furthur extend the branding delivering actionable information and real opportunities for their members.
Results: BidAlert.com's identity program is a fresh approach in a somewhat dated marketplace which has helped raise awareness and prompt interest.
