Sub-Brand Identity Development

Overview: Leading environmental company, EnerTech, developed the world's first Biosolids-to-Renewable Energy process. The company engaged BCHORD to establish a unified, clearly defined brand identity and create the brand architecture necessary to support it.
Objective: Define a brand architecture to illustrate how the corporate brand, product, process and facilities work together to build a unified brand identity.
Brand Design: Using the existing corporate identity as a foundation, we explored possible arrangements of how the product (eFuel), process (SlurryCarb) and first facility in Rialto, CA could work together to communicate a consistent brand promise. Each sub-brand also needed to consistently represent EnerTech’s visual brand. Once we identified the best brand architecture, we then designed logos and graphics to represent each sub-brand.
Results: The new sub-brand identities has helped extend the brand and given internal marketing fresh images and graphics to help support the business growth.
