Overview: RenRe, a global provider of reinsurance and insurance with a focus on catastrophe and specialty reinsurance, was preparing to launch a retail brand targeted at small to mid-sized independent insurance agencies. With a strong executive team developing the business strategy and technology to support it, they needed a partner to develop the market-facing brand identity.
Objective: Create a consistent identity platform that appeals to the targeted audience and has enough depth to scale as the business grows.
Brand Design: Working with the leadership to identify key targets and messages, we were able to define a new position and brand platform for RenRetail. We then designed an identity program to support the strategy, employing using humor to attract attention, a refined messaging platform and progressive visual designs.
Results: Our branding approach, using irreverent imagery, punchy headlines and vivid graphics, caught attention immediately driving interest for this new market player.
