Overview: Surgical Information Systems, a 10-year-old company specializing in hospital operating room software, brought on a new management team with a vision to become a bigger player in their space. With aspirations to expand globally, the company needed a more dynamic brand.
Objective: Reposition the brand and reinvent the identity to reflect the new vision, management team and culture.
Brand Design: Working with such a long company name was challenging; so we focused on the development of an icon to become the company’s core identifier. This new icon became the device for helping SIS tell its complex story. Additionally, a set of extended icons were developed to personify the brand. These were organized in a graphic depicture to simplify how the company presents its value proposition and software benefits. The new brand identity was implemented through the development of public and client websites, refreshed business materials and collateral. It was also as launched at the biggest tradeshow in IT healthcare, HIMSS.
